**Āu Mahi | What You Will Do**
The role of Kaitohutohu Rangahau Māori is to support the Kaiārahi Rangahau Māori in helping to further the University's achievements and reputation in mātauranga Māori research and collaborative research with Māori.

Under the guidance of the Kaiārahi Rangahau Māori this role will work alongside University staff on the co—design and development of high-quality funding proposals.

You will provide on-going support and project management services to programmes of research. You will also provide workshops and training seminars and will be a key source of advice pertaining to Māori-focused research funding criteria, especially the Vision Mātauranga policy, and Māori research generally.

**Mōu | Who You Are**
You have knowledge of New Zealand's research funding agencies and mechanisms, especially Vision Mātauranga and those relevant to Māori research.

You have a strong knowledge of tikanga Māori, have a sound understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and ideally speak te reo Māori.

You either have project management experience or have an understanding of project management functions and basic account practices.
