Due to internal movement and a number of new exciting projects here at RBNZ we are looking for an outstanding Procurement Adviser to join the team for a 12-month fixed term contract. Te tūranga - The role The Financial and Commercial Operations Group are looking for a new Procurement Adviser to join their busy and growing team. Their aim is to ensure greater value for money for New Zealanders through better Te Pūtea Matua procurement practice, contract and supplier management. In this role you will:
- Develop and maintain productive relationships with key stakeholders to enhance Te Pūtea Matua's procurement and contract management activities.
- Provide advice to the business on current operating procurement processes and policy.
- Support contract management practices across the organisation, including assisting with internal compliance monitoring.
- Deliver low value-low risk procurement processes and assist with more complex activities as required.
- Assist with the procurement aspect of project work as required.
- Identify opportunities to streamline procurement activities and support implementation of initiatives within the team.

- 1-2 years government procurement experience.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships across a diverse group of internal and external contacts
- Computer literacy and the ability to quickly learn new systems
- Financial analysis skills with demonstrated ability to manipulate and interpret data.
- Strong focus on achieving win-win outcomes
