Fujitsu NZ is seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to help lead procurement strategies and sourcing activities across New Zealand for our IT products and services.As a procurement specialist you will be responsible for undertaking business requirements definition, supply market analysis and commercial risk assessments to inform procurement planning and sourcing decisions. You will also develop, coordinate, and lead sourcing activities to establish supply arrangements that meet business needs.

In this role you will:

- Lead procurement strategies for business units and sourcing activities across NZ.
- Undertake business requirements definition, supply market analysis and commercial risk assessments to inform procurement planning and sourcing decisions.
- Develop, coordinate, and lead sourcing activities to establish supply arrangements that meet business needs
- Plan and lead contract negotiations and review of supply arrangements to deliver value for money procurement outcomes.

To be successful in this role you will have:
- Demonstrated procurement experience ideally across both direct and indirect categories or supply chain experience.
- Advanced procurement skills, specifically in supplier management.
- Excellent stakeholder management experience and have the ability to influence and put your strategic mindset to good use
- Ability to remain productive in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work as part of a collaborative team.
- Extensive customer service experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
