**What will you be doing?**

Tower is on a journey and working towards shaping our organization as the customer of choice with our suppliers. To enable this transformation, we are working towards uplifting our commercial discipline at Tower.

Reporting to Lisa Skinner, the Head of Commercial Finance, the Senior Procurement Business Partner - Technology role will be required to lead, manage, and in some cases facilitate a range of procurement processes and strategies for Tower with a strong focus on achieving commercial value. Additionally, you will manage a specific portfolio of compliance processes.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with expert knowledge of contract development, negotiation, and administration including Supplier Relationship Management, 3rd party risk management to deliver outcomes across our Technology function.

**Our customers are our compass. **This is a critical role and is key to the successful delivery of positive sustainable outcomes for our customers and our people via strategic procurement activities.

**You can expect to be across the following**:

- You will be a trusted advisor to Tower's business leaders by providing input into the technology strategy and will provide input and guidance into the business case development
- You will provide expert advice to business stakeholders in the planning and execution of key procurement initiatives, with a focus on achieving high quality, fit-for-purpose outcomes that drive value for money
- Lead the appointed commercial engagements (total RFx processes, negotiation, contract development, pricing, terms and conditions, commercial principles etc.) for nominated categories on behalf of your business stakeholders.
- Identify areas in the procurement model and processes that could be enhanced to deliver greater value to the internal business and the suppliers eco system whilst keeping data and automation a key design principle.
- Ensure that the procurement procedures and activities align with governance, legal and other established requirements.
- Support the HO Commercial Finance by mentoring and coaching the procurement team members to uplift the capability within the team

We're on the lookout for a passionate and talented individual who not only understands procurement methodologies but can also demonstrate commercial acumen, risk awareness, and an ability to have challenging conversations with stakeholders to drive the outcomes we need. As the Procurement lead for key projects, you'll have the chance to manage resources, provide guidance, and make a lasting impact on our strategy and targets.

**To be successful in this role, you will also be able to demonstrate the following**:

- 15+ years previous experience in a Procurement role with expertise in Technology Procurement
- CIPS Level 4 or equivalent qualifications preferred.
- Ability to execute independently and professionally
- Demonstrable success in leading and negotiating complex deals
- Business case, strategy creation and alignment experience
- Change Management and Project Management experience is necessary
- Ability to interpret financials, develop conclusions/options and present results and or recommendations
- Sound commercial strategy formation and delivery expertise
