**THE ROLE**

As Legal Business Partner and part of the Spark Legal Centre of Excellence you will be supporting Entelar Group full time. You will report to the Lead Legal Business partner - Technology at Spark with a dotted line to the CEO of Entelar Group and be a key member of Entelar Group lead team.

You will be responsible for the provision of effective, practical, high quality, strategic and outcome-focused legal and commercial advice. Partnering with and working alongside key business stakeholders and senior leadership you will provide drafting, advisory and transaction support while ensuring all of Entelar Group's commercial and legal objectives are balanced appropriately.

You will be responsible for the full suite of legal services to Entelar Group, including company secretarial, property and construction, commercial and procurement and customer contracts and terms and advice. You will be part of the broader Spark Legal and Regulatory COE and so have access to the ongoing legal development opportunities and group support functions like regulatory and competition advice.

**WHAT YOU'RE RESPONSIBLE FOR**
- ** Legal & commercial advice.** Developing and maintaining a clear understanding of Entelar Group's evolving strategies and leveraging this knowledge in your support and provision of the highest quality legal and commercial advisory services.
- ** Balancing objectives & risks.** Working with the business, and in conjunction with the CEO, to ensure Entelar Group's strategic, legal, and commercial objectives are met while appropriately balancing risks.
- ** Procurement support.** Providing legal and commercial advice on all parts of the procurement process.
- ** Company Secretarial support.** Providing corporate governance and secretarial service to ensure the company complies with its statutory obligations.
- ** Customer Contracts and Consumer Law advice**. Providing support for customer teams on contracts, and product development and marketing collateral to ensure contracts reflect Spark's risk appetite and are compliant with laws.
- ** Stakeholder management**. Proactively keeping the key leaders and all relevant stakeholders informed of activities, costs, and key legal and commercial issues as appropriate. Developing and presenting to senior stakeholders' analysis and recommendations for deals that identify the options to deliver maximum returns to Entelar Group for a given level of commercial and legal risk.
- ** Manging external legal providers.** In conjunction with the lead legal partner - Technology and Value Management, managing the supply of external legal advisers, including ensuring the provision of high quality, timely advice within carefully managed budgets
- ** Contract advice.** Providing legal advice and support in relation to the interpretation and implementation of contractual obligations.
- ** Contract negotiations.** Leading negotiations for significant customer and supply side opportunities, including partnering with property, commercial and procurement teams and stakeholders, with accountability for leading discussions on legal issues.
- ** Major contracts.** Implementing effective processes around major contracts to help maximise profitability and business returns and minimise commercial and legal risk.
- Identifying and participating in initiatives aimed at helping Entelar Group to innovate, improve and simplify our services and the outcomes we deliver.
- ** Frameworks & tools.** Ensuring that all necessary skills, frameworks, processes, and tools are in place and properly used to optimise legal effort and outputs, and promote compliance by the business.
- Understanding when and how to resolve escalations to deliver results.
