role
The Rostering Support
kapa (team) is a fundamental part of the HR Shared Services (HRSS) whānau
(family). They tautoko (support) the largest workforce in the South
Island ensuring we pay our kaimahi (staff) accurately, on time, every
time. They - re hard-working and dedicated delivering their mahi (work) to
high standards putting the kaimahi (staff) at the centre of what they do.
As a Roster Officer,
you - ll report into the Rostering Support Team Leader and be part of a fantastic
group of specialists.

**Key everyday responsibilities include**:

- Providing essential support and advice to our managers;
- Translating information about who worked what and when into wages;
- Being the gatekeeper to good quality payment data. Alongside this, there

are always projects and initiatives that need to be supported too.
- Collaborating with colleagues and kaimahi (staff) to

review and continuously improve the way we work;
- Training and support of our people leaders and roster
transactors;
- Making sure we comply with legislation;
- Helping prioritise work;
- Providing information for audits.The ability to work
from home on occasion and have flexibility of hours is also a possibility.

complex reports so should have an intermediate knowledge of systems and

various aspects of paying people would be ideal, as well as experience of the
