Te Whatu Ora, Health New Zealand, leads the day-to-day running of our health system across New Zealand, with functions delivered at local, district, regional and national levels. **Mō te tūnga | About the Role**

We are looking for a Senior Medical Officer to join the Oral & Maxillofacial service based at Christchurch Hospital. The team covers acute and elective outpatient and inpatient care. This role requires being on a 1:4 out of hours on-call roster. This is a 0.5 FTE (20 hours per week) SMO position with a negotiable start date.

Christchurch Hospital is the largest tertiary, teaching and research hospital in the South Island and provides a full range of emergency, acute, planned care and outpatient services. The hospital acts as a level one trauma centre.
