**What you will do**:
In this role you will be responsible for ensuring that appropriate support and service delivery is available to internal and external customers. Specific duties will include:
- Meeting complex operational requirements within specified development and service delivery timeframes
- Providing Level 2 & 3 support to flagship software solutions and Level 1 support for internal users
- Monitoring Support inboxes, troubleshooting and solving issues and escalating issues to the development team
- Assisting with reporting, managing SSRS subscriptions and report automation
- Monitoring and updating the company IT hardware assets register
**Skills and experience we are looking for**:
To be successful in this role we are looking for an experienced Support Engineer who has previously worked in a fast paced software development environment. Specifically we are looking for:
- A relevant Tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science or similar with 3-5 years experience in a Technical support role
- Experience with or an understanding of ITIL/ITSM processes
- Experience in end to end software testing and UAT
- Experience with report generation and automation and ideally some SQL / SSRS knowledge
- The ability to work to best practice standards and to create and maintain documentation
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with customers and colleagues
- A flexible approach, the ability to multi
- task and the ability to switch priorities as and when required
- A commitment to providing first class support with a strong customer focus
