Ayurda Wellness and Spa is a boutique wellness centre based on the ancient holistic science of Ayurveda. We help our customers with their wellness journey by offering a range of personalized treatments, lifestyle consultations, and supplements. Our goal is to deliver our clients a luxurious, healing, and unique therapeutic experience which will stay with them long after they have left us.

We are now looking for a motivated Receptionist to join our passionate and talented team to help manage the day to day operations at our beautiful Parnell and Ponsonby branches.

You will be a **mature administrative geniu**s and consider **top notch customer service** to be your primary focus at work. You will have a genuine passion towards holistic well-being and be able to aptly demonstrate the company’s philosophy and values.

This is a key role that will see you supporting the Spa Manager to develop a small team, lead by example in delivering an exceptional customer experience and drive outstanding financial results.

You will be responsible for booking appointments, greeting clients, dealing with phone enquiries and promoting the range of therapeutic products available for sale at the clinic and spa. You will also be responsible for promoting the clinic through various channels.

The successful applicant must demonstrate a holistic approach to health in their own life. An awareness of Ayurveda, the ancient health science of India would be an advantage.

Key Requirements:
Responsibilities will include:

- Managing and coordinating all activities throughout the Spa and Clinic Centre - this is a very hands-on role.
- Establishing and nurturing relationships with local clientele.
- Being highly knowledgeable in all areas of retail and treatments, reviewing Spa Menu regularly ensuring seasonal & market demands are being met.
- Offer a seamless customer experience and ensure guest satisfaction by overseeing a clean and safe facility that offers a five-star service regardless of the nature of the service being purchased by the client
- Have an extensive products and treatments knowledge and be confident recommending clients
- Perform cash, check, and credit card transactions accurately
- Maintain a clean and organised front desk and reception area at all times
- Use our online computer software (Kitomba) for client check-ins, meticulously updating client accounts as needed and checking that all files are complete.
- Understand and follow employee standards of conduct and ethics and strictly adhere to all company’s procedures
- Attend all scheduled meetings and training
- Handle all guest complaints according to the Spa procedures and with the utmost confidence, grace and concern for their satisfaction.
- Maximise the booking capacity by upselling, rebooking and ensuring the team understand their responsibility
- Improving retail and ensure all products are nicely displayed and customers are given sample as required
- Monitor and clean the facilities regularly
- Perform opening and closing duties including staff huddles as assigned
- Perform regular stock takes, manage product levels and oversee stock orders
- Have a willing attitude, great enthusiasm and be an excellent team supporter

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent listening skills and ability to maturely handle client complaints
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment with excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong work ethic that includes punctuality, organisation, and attention to detail
- Be able to work with different ethnicities - as work colleagues and clients
- Ability to maintain a friendly, enthusiastic, and positive attitude
- Confidence and desire to provide excellent customer service
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
- Familiarity with basic cash-handling procedures
- High level of personal presentation

Required Experience:

- At least one-year experience in an admin or front desk position

**Salary**: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
