Site Manager Job Purpose:

- Ensuring compliance with statutory regulations

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

- Manager and motivate staff, helping to develop them, embracing the values of Manaakitanga
- Oversee staff training in collaboration with department heads
- Induct all new staff into our systems, keeping records of their progress as new employees
- Human Resources / recruiting / rostering according to budgets / training and induction / performance reviewing / leave management
- Ensure compliance with all Safety and Wellness protocols
- Be aware & prepared for events in the local area that may affect sales
- Follow the established business systems
- Be prepared for seasonal changes, adjusting stock holdings and rosters accordingly
- Ensuring effective communication, making sure everyone has current, up-to-date information, both up and down the channels
- Seek and continuously develop knowledge and information about industry trends
- Ensure all routine tasks are completed to standard in a timely manner and recorded as appropriate
- Attend meetings and contribute to company progress and future
- Personal and professional development of self and team
- Nurture existing relationships with complementary businesses, seeking new opportunities to partner with providers of guests
- Maximise revenue by following company sales policies
- Stock control that refelcts sesonal variations/events
- Ensuring compliance with house rules, policies, and systems
- Staying across any issues raised by guests
- Oversight of all in-bound communications, following up as appropriate
- Ensure correct use of language, staff appearance (ie clothing), and other work related behaviour is in line with staff policies

What were looking for:

- 3 or more years of hospitality experience, with 1 or more in a supervisory role
- Current Duty Managers Certificate
- Valid full drivers licence
