Reporting to the Laboratory Manager, you will promote Quality and Food Safety within Danone Nutricia.

You will:

- Ensure compliance with ISO 17025, MPI Recognised Laboratory Program, MPI Transitional and Containment Facility standards, HSNO and HSWA Act.
- Lead and develop a robust team of experts to enhance laboratory performance and efficiency.
- Plan and prioritise chemistry testing, calibrations, and audits and ensure successful achievement of the laboratory’s key performance indicators.
- Ensure optimum utilisation of resources and continuous improvement of lab processes and procedures.
- Lead verification of chemistry test methods and participate in proficiency studies.
- Plan and execute improvement projects as assigned by Laboratory Manager.

About you
You are an experienced and technically strong Chemistry Team Leader. You have experience in team management and enjoy building and nurturing a team of successful analysts and technicians. You will be a go-to person for all matters of Chemistry for varied stakeholders across the business and have experience in leading projects. Above all, you enjoy working in a fun-filled, challenging, and fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.

Ideally, you have:

- A background in Chemistry/Food Science coupled with solid Chemistry Laboratory experience at a senior KTP level.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in a fast-paced laboratory environment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to connect well with team members
- A problem-solving mindset and ability to work well under pressure
