We have an exciting opportunity available for an experienced accounts administrator to work for one of NZs largest automotive parts manufacturers.

**This is an immediate start temporary assignment for a 3 month period based in Mt Wellington.**

The key purpose of this role will be controlling and maintaining accounts receivable including credit control functions, as well as accounts payable.

**General duties will include**:

- Maintain fully reconciled accounts receivable ledger
- Ensure all invoices & statements are sent to customers
- Debt collection, including contacting customers and resolving queries and disputes regarding the amount owing
- Process customer rebate payments
- Receiving incoming mail, sorting, and distributing to relevant personnel
- Processing incoming invoices
- Manage account reconciliation and follow up on approvals for payruns
- Prepare weekly/monthly credit payments for creditors
- Support for Senior Accountant as required
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Finance or related discipline (or equitable experience)
- 3 years experience working in a similar Accounts Receivable/Payable role
- Intermediate MS Office skills, particularly Excel
- Experience with GreenTree preferred but not essential
- Highly organised with ability to manage conflicting priorities and tight deadlines
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Have an exceptional eye for detail
- Demonstrated capacity to work as a member of a high performing team
