- About the role
The Application Tester is responsible for working with their team to
provide a level of service excellence across all Information and Communication
Technology [ICT] solutions whilst maintaining the development and delivery of
the ISG work plan.
Ideally, we are looking for someone with test automation
experience, and a willingness to continually improve our processes and
practices.
You will be

**responsible for**:

- Analysing requirements, developing test plans

and test cases, executing and reporting on outcomes
- Liaise with test capability across the teams
to assist them with optimising the use of testing methodologies and tools to
deliver software that improves users' productivity, clinical productivity and
patient convenience.
- Manage the operations you are responsible for to
ensure high quality, consistent and effective service
- Implement service improvement plans where
required.
- Develop and maintain knowledge articles and
documentation
- Respond to escalated enquiries from other team members
- Review the quality of service and assist the Team

This role

**requires the following**:

- At least two years' experience in a relevant structured commercial

software testing environment
- Relevant Tertiary
Qualification; BS Software Engineering or equivalent.
- Qualification
in testing e.g. ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL) is
desirable
- Testing skills
and knowledge ' Test Design, Test Strategy/Planning and implementation
skills (UAT regression, and unit level), writing test cases,
reporting/verifying bugs and issues
- Analysis of
requirements, specifications, and other project documentation to assure
- Experience in
automated testing
- Experience
documenting, implementing and improving processes
- A passion for
technology, quality outcomes and continuous learning
- Strong verbal
and written communication skills, as well as strong organisational skills.
- Proven ability
to establish and maintain effective working relationships with key
