Business Support Manager

**The Opportunity | Te kōwhiringa**:
We have a fantastic opportunity to join our passionate and high-performing team in the beautiful Whanganui as a Business Support Manager.
As the Business Support Manager will work as part of the Whanganui regional leadership team as a key member in developing, implementing and driving best practice business systems and processes to key stakeholders.
You will be responsible for providing leadership to the administration function ensuring that quality support is being provided effectively and efficiently to meet all business requirements. You will ensure sound business systems, processes and best practices are being applied consistently to all you do which is consistent with both the Transport Services and national approach.
**You will also be responsible for**:
- Initiating common practices and consistency in the way administration is provided
- Fostering an environment of continuous improvement
- Driving stakeholder understanding of business systems and procedures, and leading change processes to systems and procedures
- Leading continuous improvement ideas across the provision of administration processes
**Important Skills | Nga pūkenga matua**
As an experienced administrator, used to operating at a senior level, you’ll bring along your proven leadership experience that empower others and strong skills surrounding the Microsoft Office Suite. You will also bring with you experience in developing, implementing systems and rolling out change management processes with successful outcomes. You will have also have:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- The ability to prioritise work and work to deadlines
- A confident and professional manner in dealing with people
- The ability to manage multiple tasks with conflicting deadlines
- The ability to maintain confidentiality and act professionally
- The ability to work collaboratively and use initiative
