We are on the lookout for a proactive, self-driven and motivated sales star to join our market leading team as a Key Account Manager - Foodstuffs North Island. Reporting to the Business Manager Foodstuffs North Island, this pivotal role sits within our Sales Team based at our Head Office in Ellerslie, Auckland (with flexible working options, onsite parking and delicious snacks included)
- Here at The Griffin’s Snacks, we produce many iconic and much-loved kiwi brands, including Griffins, Nice & Natural, Huntley and Palmers, Eta, The Kettle Chip Company and Snackachangi, and we’re looking for a true team player with strong business acumen who is keen to join us on our growth journey in an area of key strategic focus within the business
This fast paced, highly commercial role is responsible for the development and execution of strategic account plans that are focussed on growth, market share and profit objectives for the business whilst developing and maintaining, strong sustainable customer relationships.
In this hands on role, you’ll be responsible for:

- Managing promotional and sales forecasting via our Promax system
- Managing one direct report
- Managing the invoice process and approvals
- Customer NPD launch presentations and planning
- NPD launch forecasting
- Achieving agreed trade spend targets and maximizing pricing through effective implementation of the pricing strategy
- Building strong professional relationships with internal and external customers
- Supporting with the development and delivery of the Foodstuffs North Island business plans
- Evaluating Promotional Strategy effectiveness and recommending changes to improve profit
- Providing strong communication and direction to our North Island Field Team
- Reporting and ROI analysis on agreed promotional activity

**What you’ll bring to the role?**
- 3+ years FMCG experience in Customer Marketing, Account Manager or Account Executive roles - an extra tick if you have experience with Foodstuffs North Island
- Ideally, you will be tertiary qualified, with commerce endorsements
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills - you get along with everyone and love to meet new people
- Strong negotiation and selling skills with proven track record of delivering results (promotional forecasting experience would be a plus)
- An eye for detail and solid analytical skillset - you don’t miss a thing
- Accountability - you own your decisions and can be counted on to do what you say you will
- Eagerness to learn and grow your career with us

- Knowledge of Excel, Word and Powerpoint required. (Promax, BW, SAP and IRI are not required but an advantage)
