**The Company**:
In New Zealand they focus mainly on the food processing/manufacturing e.g., Meat, Poultry, Seafood processing, Confectionery, Baking, Bottling, Canning etc.), and the Materials Handling and Distribution markets. (e.g., Airport baggage handling, Amazon etc).

They are a reliable industry partner, a solutions provider, renowned for understanding their client’s needs and provide the most appropriate solutions to enhance their customers operation.

**The Opportunity**:

- On their behalf, we are seeking an experienced Key Account Manager, to manage a portfolio of the company's well-established clients. We want who will nurture the relationships with their clients, and focus on growth, constantly looking at ways to improve revenue and increase "share of wallet' within these accounts._
- The successful new team member will be_ tasked with the acquisition of targeted new end-user and OEM clients, so you must be confident in your ability to prospect and cultivate new business.

**The Role**:

- Account Management of existing clients and grow share of wallet.
- Acquisition of targeted new business, through strategic business development activities
- Ensure regular visits to client sites, to keep abreast of any specific needs or sales growth opportunities.
- Build relationships with customers, across their business, from Factory Floor, Production, Engineering, and Purchasing departments.
- Responding to customer’s needs, issues, and problem solve
- Offering customised solutions to suit the specific needs of each customer.
- Identify _growth opportunities_ from existing accounts.
- Plan and manage a sales pipeline across all customers.
- Perform regular customer surveys, ensuring customers are getting the most effective and efficient solutions.
- Introduce cost and time saving solutions.
- Work collaboratively with Australian sales team, across mutual cross Tasman clients.

**About You**:

- 3-5+ years’ exp in Account Management / Business Development roles, selling a technical product / solution.
- Proven experience identifying and acquiring new business.
- A consultative sales approach, offering the right solutions to meet customers’ specific needs.
- Be both Sales and Technically minded and can move between the two skill areas with ease.
- Eager and willing to invest time and energy into achieving results.
- Strong service orientation. Will respond to customers in need, even if it is outside business hours.
- Experience working with businesses in the Food & Beverage Processing and Food Manufacturing industries, or any experience from the Materials Handling, or Distribution industries would also be desirable.
- Any SAP experience is a bonus. Confident MS Office Suite, Excel, Outlook experience
- Enjoys being able to help companies make improvements, create efficiencies and enjoy the cost savings.
- Hungry to achieve, goal and target oriented.
- Able to travel up to 2-3 nights a month.
