An opportunity has arisen in Waikato Hospital’s Nuclear Medicine Department, for a qualified Medical Imaging Technologist with Class Radionuclide Imaging registration.

Key responsibilities of the role:

- Clinical scanning
- Laboratory radiopharmaceutical preparations
- Image processing

**Mōu | About you**

Skills and experience you’ll need to be considered for the role:

- A strong patient focus
- Full registration with the NZ Medical Radiation Technologist Board with Class Radionuclide Imaging scope of practice
- Experience in general Nuclear Medicine procedures

**Mō tātou Ratonga | About our Service**

Our Nuclear Medicine department is equipped with two solid-state scanners, one of which is a dedicated cardiac scanner, and one conventional hybrid NM-CT scanner. The service undertakes a wide range of functional imaging studies.
