Our Research & Development group at LIC remains innovative and continues to be a leader in the Agricultural sector. The Research & Development group works closely with other departments throughout LIC to bring ideas to life.

**Your Role**:
Your key focus includes:

- Being responsible for generation of herd improvement extension material for the sales capability team to help build and coach the learning and development framework for herd improvement,
- Continue to develop your verbal and written communication skills, to support extension activities (that aid our customer's on-farm decision making to drive herd improvement, and across the industry in relation to animal evaluation and herd improvement),
- Participate in a collaborative working environment within and across LIC teams.

Applicants will display the following attributes:

- A relevant tertiary qualification,
- At least 2-3 years of work and dairy industry experience,
- Deep knowledge of herd improvement principles and dairy farming,
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal),
- Well-developed computer skills with the ability to analyse and handle data to generate insights,
- Ability to relate effectively and professionally to all levels of the dairy industry, dairy farmers, and their advisors,
- Able to work effectively as part of a team, involving staff of all levels with a wide range of skills.
