**About the Role**
As a **Graduate Engineer**, you will be responsible for providing engineering support across a variety of functions, including asset engineering, network planning, and performance analysis. This is a multifaceted role that will give you a solid grounding in power distribution engineering and the opportunity to manage small, low-risk network projects from start to finish.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting in the analysis of asset condition and maintenance data, contributing to asset management decisions.
- Supporting the preparation of work scopes and designs for network reinforcement and asset replacement projects.
- Conducting load flow simulations and supporting network modelling.
- Contributing to network performance analysis and troubleshooting power quality issues.
- Helping to develop and maintain technical standards and specifications for distribution network design and maintenance.
- Managing and delivering small projects, using business project management processes.
**What You’ll Bring**
We’re looking for a graduate with:
- **1-2 years of relevant experience** in power systems or related fields. However, **exceptional graduates** with strong academic results and proven internship experience will also be considered.
- A solid theoretical understanding and interest in power distribution engineering, network planning, and asset management, gained through a tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering (ideally power systems or similar).
- A proactive, problem-solving attitude, with a keen desire to learn and contribute to projects.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage time effectively across multiple tasks and projects.
