- Multiple Wellington based permanent roles in this newly formed team within our Family and Community Health Policy Group
- Salary midpoint of $111,737 for Seniors and $143,064 for Principals. Appointment salaries will be dependent on experience, capability and consideration for internal relativities

At Manatū Hauora - Ministry of Health we are the kaitiaki of the health system, providing leadership and driving strategy and performance. We regulate the health sector and are the primary source of advice on health matters. Our mahi ensures New Zealanders are cared for by a health system that is innovative, future focussed and world leading.
Manatū Hauora has a clear mandate to make changes to the health system that lead to equitable outcomes for tangata whaikaha (disabled people). Manatū Hauora also sits alongside Whaikaha, the new Ministry of Disabled People, which has an important disability system leadership role.
Ko tōu ake mahi - What You'll Do
The Health of Disabled People Policy team is a new policy team within the Group which focuses on ensuring that the health system achieves equitable outcomes for disabled people. The team focuses on policy related to the health of disabled people, including leading the development of the Health of Disabled People Strategy. You'll work across the health system to identify opportunities to improve health outcomes for disabled people, as well supporting cross-government commitments.
