Sales Manager

The iconic Chateau on the Park - a DoubleTree by Hilton is looking for a Sales Manager who loves the thrill of chasing and securing new business opportunities whilst maintaining strong relationships with existing clients.

**What will I be doing**:

- Research and seek out new business opportunities
- Build and maintain relationships with clients and provide solutions in order to convert the business
- Actively promote the hotel facilities by entertaining clients and agents as necessary
- Conduct site inspections of the hotel with potential clients
- Conduct regular Sales updates to clients
- Attend Trade shows around New Zealand if required - ability to travel essential
- Ensure all reports are produced as requested by Management
- Collate market intelligence and research potential opportunities
- Have an understanding and knowledge of our competitors - SWAT
- Develop and maintain a broad range of product knowledge about the Hotel
- Update and maintain accurate account profiles in the database e. g. Delphi
- Attend and contribute to team strategy meetings to maximise revenue opportunities
- Two years in a similar role, preferably within a hotel chain environment
