Ko tōu ake mahi - What You'll Do
Our team take a leading role in ensuring evidence-based decision-making and evaluation is in place across Manatū Hauora. The team will demonstrate a Te Tiriti o Waitangi grounded, evidence-based approach to commissioned research and evaluation to deliver outcomes that matter to whānau.
This role supports a range of research and evaluation activities across Manatū Hauora. Of immediate focus is supporting the creation of several Pae Ora (Healthy Futures) strategies, working across health and wider government ministries. This role will both champion and support research and evaluation activities and undertake the delivery of research and evaluation functions.

Ko ngā pukenga ōu - What You'll Bring

A relevant tertiary qualification in research and evaluation or equivalent experience of delivering these activities in a health context
A commitment to the principals of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and equity within all functions
A detailed understanding of the functions of Aotearoa health system and the role of research and evaluation within this system
Strong written communication skills
