Te Whatu Ora Hauora a Toi Bay of Plenty is one of the Bay of Plenty's largest employers with over 4000 staff.
**He Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the Role**
An opportunity exists to join the Planned Care Services team at Te Whatu Ora, Health New Zealand Hauora a Toi Bay of Plenty as the Medical Scheduling Team Leader.
This leadership position reports to and provides support to the Planned Care Administration Manager to lead and manage the team of administration staff undertaking scheduling responsibilities for subspecialist medical planned care across the Te Whatu Or Hauora a Toi Bay of Plenty, to ensure patients are provided access to clinical care in a timely and efficient way.
This is a full and varied role, and you will require excellent communication and coordination skills as well as a commitment to professional excellence.

To be suitable for this role it is important you have the following skills and attributes:
- Demonstrated leadership qualities, including well developed interpersonal skills
- Proficient with patient management software, spreadsheets and databases
- Organised, high quality and strong attention to detail
- Motivated, self-driven and solutions focused attitude
- Strong focus on outstanding customer service
Proven experience as a people leader in a large complex organisation is required, experience in a health setting is desirable.
