The head office is based in Tauranga with an international team and facilities based across Australia, USA and England. They are now on the hunt to find an experienced Warehouse Team Leader and have an opportunity to join a top-performing global company.

About the Company

Our Client is a New Zealand company that designs, manufactures, and distributes commercial equipment around the world. They started in the 1980s developing equipment for the booming kiwifruit industry, but now have an exciting range of equipment with a loyal following of Horticulture/Viticulture growers, turf farmers, sports and golf, and municipal contractors.

About the Role

You will be part of the NZ Operations team and responsible for the effective and positive direction of the warehouse team and inventory flow management. Trouble shooting and following systematic processes are a critical element. Being logical, methodical and having the ability to find a positive solution for internal and external parties, will all help with your success as our Warehouse Team Leader.

Duties
- Coordinate warehouse duties by effective leadership of the team and ensuring safety, quality and process standards are achieved.
- Ensure inwards goods are verified, receipted and stored correctly, in accordance with our Clients procedures and QC standards.
- Ensure component parts and raw materials are picked and delivered in full, in accordance with production and shipping schedules.
- Coordinate the loading and dispatch of finished machines to export and domestic markets.
- Provide effective and positive leadership, to ensure the team are engaged, issues are resolved, and personal development of the team.
- Lead a culture of continuous improvement within the team by identifying opportunities for quality, safety & efficiency.
- Health and Safety driven focus and adherence.

Skills and Experience
- Working with cross functional teams.
- Proven experience leading a warehouse team in a distribution or manufacturing environment.
- Strong communication skills.
- An understanding of inventory and quality management principles and processes.
- Experience with computer systems for warehousing and dispatch.
- An interest in mechanical components and manufacturing processes.
