**He Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the Role**

We have an exciting opportunity for an occupational therapist to join our Medical team for a fixed term parental leave position February 2025 - February 2026.

This role is varied and offers the opportunity to improve the wellbeing of patients journeying through previous and new health conditions including but not limited to traumatic brain injury, stroke, and general frailty conditions.

You will work closely with a multi-disciplinary team (i.e. Clinical Leads, Advanced & Junior rotators, Allied Health Assistants) covering acute medical patients at Tauranga Hospital.

This role is covered by the PSA Allied Public Health, Scientific and Technical Collective Agreement. Salary range for this position is $77,087 to $107,600.

- Exemplary interpersonal skills
- Preferred but not essential experience in a hospital setting working on acute wards
- A current Annual Practising Certificate
- Passion and a drive to make a real difference through your work and have a strong cultural awareness
- A willingness to work alongside other Allied Health clinicians and leaders to help shape this service
