**The role - Te mahi**

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Postdoctoral Fellow as part of a collaboration investigating the effect of consuming a paraprobiotic on sleep, mental health, and gut health. The main role will be to manage the delivery of an international industry funded randomised, controlled trial.

**Your skills and experience - K pkeka me k wheako**

This role would suit someone with experience in managing all aspects of running a clinical trial and in writing academic papers, and who is able to work both independently and collaboratively alongside a multidisciplinary team of health researchers.
- A PhD in a health-related discipline and have a good publication record and record of building a research profile.
- Excellent organisational skills, be reliable and have a strong work ethic, be a good planner and motivated worker.
- Experience in dealing with a wide variety of stakeholders and have excellent communication skills.
- Experience in sleep, mental health, microbiome, or nutrition research would be advantageous.

This is a fixed-term (1.5-year) full-time (1.0 FTE) position, located in Dunedin. The salary for this position ranges is $82,460 per year.
