**About WEL Networks**

WEL Networks is excited to be innovating and upgrading our ever-growing network and future-proofing our region as we diversify from a traditional lines company; continuing to play an essential role in the Waikato region's economic and social development.

Based in Hamilton and with around 300 employees WEL Networks, owned by and working for the community, has been serving the Waikato for over 100 years, distributing power from the national grid, connecting over 160,000 people to electricity services.

We are looking for skilled, innovative and enthusiastic individuals to join our team in supporting the company through this exciting new chapter and into the future.

**About the role**

This is a key role within Technology Group which combines value driven business partnering and expertise in customer collaboration to ensure the strategy and services of IT align with the business strategy. Reporting into our CTO you will partner with WEL to shape and deliver a portfolio of technology services that differentiate WEL’s offering. You will continuously drive improvements into the portfolio - through leveraging emerging technologies, optimising cost, automation and changing ways of working.

**What can you bring us?**

You should be degree qualified and/or be very experienced in your field. Ideally you will have training in an Agile framework and be experienced in change management. Although not essential, it would be great if you have experience in the IT industry and/or a utility environment.

Extremely important to us, you will have a wonderfully positive professional and collaborative way of working with others, be able to show us a portfolio of work that evidences superb stakeholder management, and be curious about new technology and how it might impact / enhance our company’s journey.
