You will be designing and delivering training packages to support implementation of bespoke and commercial software packages and other change delivered via projects within the Defence Logistics Command (DLC). This role works alongside project teams, business units, and end users to design custom training solutions to ensure successful implementation of introduced changes.

**Duties for this role will include**:

- Designing, maintaining and updating custom learning packages;
- Conducting online, group and 1-on-1 trainings as needed;
- Supporting change management programmes throughout DLC;
- Creating, maintaining and updating user guides and manuals;
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders; and
- Providing support to wider team and users as needed.

Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako | Skills and Experience
You will be confident in designing and delivering educational training based on your experience and knowledge of learning theories, curriculum design, analysis interpretation and assessment construct. This role requires excellent interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with stakeholders, as well as strong communication with an ability to adapt your teaching approach to suit a wide range of learning environments and learners.

**You will also have**:

- Experience in providing robust training, particularly in adult learning, and ideally in a variety of settings;
- Experience in Learning Management Systems, such as e-learning and simulation based learning use and design;
- Strong technical knowledge, including Adobe suite, MS Office Suite, Articulate and ideally SAP, as well as an ability to learn new systems quickly;
- Have a continuous improvement mind-set, ability to think outside of the box and build creative and innovative solutions; and
- Understanding of change management and project management frameworks and workflow (beneficial).

**Please note**: This role requires the ability to travel domestically on a regular basis.

The Defence Logistics Command (DLC) is a pan-NZDF organisation that provides logistics excellence to sustain NZDF maritime, land and air operations. DLC provides consolidated logistics support to equip and sustain the three Services to enable them to meet operational outputs now and into the future.
The Logistics Delivery Support Group (DSG) is a flexible multi-disciplinary team in HQ DLC, responsible for providing a base level capability that supports the successful delivery of DLC portfolio and business improvement initiatives that sustain, develop, integrate and enhance Defence Logistics operations.
The DSG is responsible for structured, consolidated, and effective solutions to DLC problems that enable common ways of working and operational compatibility across Services. The team will collaborate closely with and provide relevant support the DLC and partner with the Defence Digital Group (DDG) on technology solutions and support.
