**What will you be doing?**

This is an exciting new opportunity to transform the design and modernisation of learning at Tower. This pivotal role will spearhead the evolution of our learning and development, defining the use of technology to modernise our approach. By enhancing our learning methods, you will establish a robust, e learning ecosystem that fosters continuous growth.

Working across NZ, Fiji, and the Pacific, your responsibilities will be instrumental in uplifting learning across Tower, particularly within our customer-facing teams and change programmes.

This role promises to be impactful and rewarding, shaping the future of learning at Tower.

**You can expect to be across the following**:

- Lead the reimagining of how we develop and equip our frontline teams to deliver our customers
- Lead the redesign of all frontline (Sales, Service and Claims) learning and ongoing professional development of using modern and best practice methods.
- Develop learning models that support employees through their career stages and align to our target operation models.
- Accountable for the development, delivery and measurement of modern knowledge management and learning solutions at Tower.
- Ensure all learning and knowledge management is effective through evaluation, measurement, and iteration.
- Partner with the business, programme, and change management stakeholders to understand their learning and knowledge management needs, providing thought leadership and deep expertise to support the achievement of their business plans.
- Provide leadership, mentoring and upskilling to the team of modern learning and design specialist, growing their skills and the capabilitiy of the Learning Design practice.
- Accountable for frontline learning including induction, ensuring it is deployed effectively, maintained and continuously improved, as well as learning that's aligned with our career progression pathways.
- Accountable for learning and knowledge management required to support new initiatives and change, including partnering with change programmes to develop and implement learning required to embed new process, policy and changes
- Ensure the Learning Design Practice ways of working are fit for purpose and iterate with changing business needs.

**What you'll need**

**To be successful in this role, you will also be able to demonstrate the following**:

- 7+ years' experience with modern learning and knowledge management solutions that suit the audience and business needs. This includes learner-led, facilitator-led, eLearning, and blended learning solutions.
- Strong experience in developing self-driven, online, and virtual/in-person learning solutions
- Deep experience in instructional design
- Experience in learning solutions that support both technical product, process, and systems skills as well as customer sales and service competencies
- People leadership experience with a track record of developing learning and knowledge management specialists.
- Experience with modern ways of working preferred
