Volpara’s screening technology enables radiologists to quantify breast tissue with precision and helps technologists produce mammograms with optimal image quality, positioning, compression, and dose.

The new Senior Software QA Engineer opportunity is responsible for supporting the New Zealand based product suite and integrated testing capability across Product Delivery and BAU.

This is a permanent position that offers fully remote working within New Zealand and an excellent opportunity to be a part of an organisation that makes a real impact.

**Requirements**:

- Exposure and/or experience in test automation using Playwright or Selenium Web Driver frameworks.
- Experience with C#, Java or other object-oriented languages used for automation in a professional environment.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Defining the scope of functional and non-functional testing within the context of each release, with an understanding of balancing risk against timeframes.
- Working with the test manager and appropriate stakeholders, contribute to and initiate continuous improvements to the test strategy (manual and automated) across the lifetime of our products.
- Partaking in user story grooming, requirements assessments, design reviews, and acceptance criteria to understand the scope and testing approach.
- Development and provisioning of test requirements & risk traceability, test cases, test data, test equipment and test environmental requirements.
- Defect assessment and logging and assist with coordinating releases for retesting and reporting.
- Adopt and contribute towards the development of automation testing practices where appropriate.
- Mentoring and coaching less experienced QA engineers.
