About the role:
We are looking for an experienced Process Engineer preferably with 3 years or more of membrane technology experience within the dairy and other related industries. Ideally, you will have had exposure to:

- Membrane mass balances, dimensioning, and plant design.
- All membrane technologies including microfiltration, ultrafiltration, nanofiltration and reverse osmosis applied to dairy and/or non-dairy processing, as well as clean water recovery from various sources.
- Membrane plant commissioning.

All of this whilst having a strong focus on ensuring quality engineering deliverables are met. The role requires the engineer to be able to travel domestically to site for commissioning periods which can be for periods of up to 3 months, and for the occasional trip offshore for training with our membrane Centres of Competence.

The position is responsible for:

- Take technical responsibility for assigned projects from planning and design through to commissioning, including working on customer sites nationwide.
- Actively monitoring the project workflow to ensure that tasks set are completed within the required project timeline and in consultation with the project team.
- Liaising with customers and sub-contractors, and site personnel to assist wherever possible.
- Developing strong relationships with all stakeholders (including Team Leads, Process Engineers and Project Managers).
- Demonstrating and appreciating safety for self and others in all actions and activities and maintain a general understanding of the health and safety legislation.

**Your profile and qualifications**:
About you:

- Proven membrane plant design and/or engineering experience (ideally 2+ years).
- Ideally 3-year tertiary qualification.
- Experienced with Microsoft Office.
- Able to work in a team and autonomously.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
