**The opportunity**

Our depth of experience and exciting office culture enables our people to impact and play a huge role in the day-to-day life of people in Aotearoa and internationally. Our team deliver outstanding project outcomes across the infrastructure, industrial, buildings, water and advisory areas of our business. We are supporting some exciting offshore projects, plus many in New Zealand and Australia. With several large contracts ahead of us we are looking to grow our team.

To be part of our exciting growth, we are looking for a Senior Electrical, Instrumentation & Control Engineer to join our Auckland based team who have significant depth of expertise in EI&C as well as other engineering disciplines. We are a close-knit team who enjoy being part of the office culture which showcases our values of enjoyment, partnership, care and tenacity

In this role you will work across a wide range of clients, industries and types of work, anything and everything from 11kV and below, across electrical and control systems for industrial sites. Each day will present a new challenge, but overall, you can expect to:

- Carry projects right through all stages from site assessment and design into construction.
- Participate in a mix of job delivery, proposal preparation, work planning and financial management together with client relationship management.
- Provide client leadership & technical direction on a range of projects across our range of markets.
- Provide management input and be a leader, mentor and coach to our Auckland Electrical
- Get involved in setting the business strategy and focus for the team.
- Network, develop and grow relationships with clients and the industrial business
- Travel to meet with clients at their manufacturing sites, and to other Beca offices

You'll have an affinity with client leadership and a passion for driving Beca's success. You’ll be an experienced client leader who excels in building relationships and turning opportunities into outcomes. You will have the natural ability to work with and influence a wide group of people across all levels of organisations and be someone who embraces challenges, promotes innovation and leads with a mindset of continual improvement. You are a chartered engineer with a strong track record of delivering industrial projects, experience in dealing with local authorities, and utility providers.
