Processing Team Leader

You'll engage, support and lead our high performing processing team by communicating and setting objectives - this is the real key to success in the role. The Processing Team Leader is responsible for ensuring NZ Post's parcel and mail product is processed at our Masterton Processing Centre in a timely and efficient manner. This includes meeting consistently high service standards through effective management of parcel flow and continuous improvement. You'll also manage the accurate and timely capture of data ensuring all systems are updated as per operational requirements.
Reporting to the Service Delivery Manager, you'll lead the team in accordance with NZ Post's values and vision as well as managing resources within the operational needs and budget for the Processing area.
You are a hands-on leader, demonstrating a commitment to safety and fostering a high performing, positive team culture. You might be in a similar role and looking for a change, or you may have been told that you are ready and able to step up into a leadership position. **What we need from you**:

- Be available to work Monday to Friday from 4.00am until 10am
- Have a clean and valid full New Zealand driver's license
- Forklift License F Endorsment Desirable ideal but not essential
- A proven history of leadership and motivating others
- Show a solid understanding of logistics management
- Have an understanding of National transport network
- Have knowledge of long-haul transport networks
