**About the role**

The People and Culture Business Partner provides support and advice to managers and employees on a range of people and culture related issues including but not limited to policy and procedure compliance, employment relationship problems, performance management, talent management, organisational development, legal advice and salary advice. They also assist with projects as needed. They are the first point of contact for day to day HR enquiries and are instrumental in maintaining the smooth running of the People & Culture team. The People and Culture Business Partner is also responsible for assisting in the development and execution of the HR strategy across the NZ businesses.

**Essential skills**
- 5 + years' experience in HR Advisor or equivalent role
- Excellent relationship building skills
- Excellent customer and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to prioritise conflicting demands in a busy environment to achieve ambitious deadlines
- Is proactive and takes initiative
- Highly autonomous, with proven ability to manage own workload effectively
- Ability to work with ambiguity and change
- Remains calm under pressure

**Desired Skills**
- Bachelor's degree in HR or equivalent qualification
- Experience in technical / engineering / manufacturing industry
