**The Communications Advisor**
will be our communications expert, a clear and concise writer providing full communications coverage across the marketing and communications team.

A trusted and reliable voice for the Skills Active Aotearoa Group, the Communications Advisor will ensure our internal and external messaging aligns with the mission and values of the Group. From writing content for campaigns, developing initiatives and event planning, to coordinating the annual report, the Communications Advisor will have a vast reach across our organisation.

**You will have**
- A tertiary marketing or communications qualification is desirable- A minimum of three years’ experience working in a marketing/communications role- Familiar with the key concepts of te reo Māori me ngā tikanga (te reo Māori and tikanga Māori). Open to further developing this knowledge and understanding how these are manifested within the Skills Active Aotearoa Group as part of normal day-to-day business
- Experience using marketing tools such as Google Analytics, Hootsuite, Salesforce
- Experience working on video and photography productions (experience handling a camera would be a bonus, but is not required)
- Relationship management skills, with the ability to develop and maintain strong and productive partnerships
