The Workplace Strategy and Policy team is responsible for guiding and developing health system settings to ensure New Zealand has a sustainable, representative and responsive health workforce that can meet the future needs of people and whanau.

As a Senior Policy Analyst, you will be leading and contributing to the development and delivery of quality policy advice to improve health outcomes for New Zealanders within a complex and ambiguous policy space.

Some of your day-to-day work may include:

- Leading work to develop new initiatives that will respond to challenges in the future Health Workforce
- Co-ordinating across agencies to develop advice on key areas of health workforce policy
- Contributing to strategic monitoring and oversight of shifts in the Health workforce and potential future implications
- Responding to emerging challenges and issues arising in the sector

This role is band 18PA with a midpoint of $119,209, appointing salary dependent on individual skills and experience.
