Be an ambassador for our youth focused programme of work. The opportunity to engage and build relationships with local youth groups and communities.
The Community Advisor - Youth is a key role, identifying opportunities to connect, educate, and encourage youth to enrol and participate in elections.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Develop and foster relationships through internal and external engagement
- Enable authentic and genuine engagement with youth communities
- Provide information, resources, and advice to community members
- Be involved in youth focused activities of engagement
- Visit with valued community groups to relay the importance of key electoral messages for their community
- Engage with schools and other youth-based organisations to deliver civic participation messages and activations.
This role will be key in connecting with youth communities and championing our youth focused programme of work.
**To be successful in this role you need the following**:
- 1+ years' experience in a sales, promotional, educational or facilitation role
- Skilled in managing own workload and driven to meet deadlines
- Experience in presentation delivery, group speaking and running activities
- A growth mindset and being open to learning opportunities and skills enhancement
- Possess a logical and methodical approach to problem solving
- Demonstrable skills in developing relationships with peer groups and communities.
