**Te āheinga: The opportunity**

As our Marketing Specialist you'll own the implementation of strategic and operational marketing activities. You'll work closely with the wider marketing team in the production and delivery of marketing campaigns and school marketing programmes for domestic and international audiences. You'll be responsible for:

- Developing campaign and marketing strategy - collate and share learnings and best practices to ensure plans best meet our marketing goals, and reputation & recruitment objectives.
- Account management of the advertising agency including the rollout and delivery of advertising campaigns - on time and on budget.
- Brand management to ensure marketing and communications activity is consistent and on-brand.

**He kōrero mōu: About you**

You'll have:

- An understanding or desire to learn te reo Māori, tikanga Māori, and the values and practices of kaupapa Māori
- Evidence of active engagement in building diverse, inclusive, and equitable workplaces/environments
- A background in marketing communications with a demonstrated ability to create and execute marketing plans.
- An ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with a variety of stakeholders and can engage and influence at all levels within the organisation.
- Worked with creative teams and developing creative briefs. You are a strategic thinker with strong written and oral skills.
- The ability to effectively plan, organise and prioritise tasks and activities to meet agreed deadlines
- A relevant tertiary qualification is essential. Knowledge and experience working in the tertiary education sector would be advantageous.
