12 March 2024We have a great immediate start temp opportunity available for an experience contracts or procurement administrator.

This is a 6 month assignment based in Grafton working for a large healthcare organisation.

The primary purpose of the role is to support and maintain the contract management system for the Commercial Services department. The role monitors and helps ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policies and procedures to attain good practice contract lifecycle management across the DHB. It also coordinates the renewal/variation process across all DHB contracting activities.

**The Role**
- Provide central contract management practice coordination and ensure consistent and good practice.
- Provide system administration and helpdesk functionality for the Contract Management System
- Develop and maintain extensive knowledge of all contracts
- Provide quality support to portfolio and relationship managers with regard to contract development including financial details
- Support services for contract renewals or supplier meetings
- Collate and collect all DHB contracts, ensure they are in the correct format for upload to the CMS
- Assist with developing insightful contract reporting that identifies key issues, risks and opportunities
- Identify risks / potential issues and escalate as needed or provide solutions to improve team performance
- Experience of 3 years in Procurement and/or Contract Management environment
- Healthcare sector experience would be an advantage
- Experience managing relationships with external government agencies and suppliers
- Experience in managing or coordinating contracts in complex environments
- A strong customer focus including the ability to develop solutions that provide ‘value for money’.
- Have great organisation skills for a high volume, transactional type role
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to meet deadlines
- Strong organisational skills - plans, prioritises and manages time effectively
- Friendly personality with a solutions focused attitude
