Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role
We are looking for a Business Advisor to join our Customer Delivery Business Management team which provides support to our Property Rights, Crown Property, Location Information, and Regulatory Practice & Delivery groups.
As the Business Advisor, this exciting opportunity will see you supporting the planning and delivery of business activities primarily in our Property Rights and Crown Property groups. You will be involved in monitoring and reporting on business group performance as well as supporting machinery of government processes. You will be eager to learn and grow your knowledge of the business, work collaboratively and effectively build relationships with your colleagues and internal customers.

**What you will get the chance to work on**:

- Contributing to and providing advice on business planning, risk management and monitoring activities,
- Supporting organisational machinery of government activities such as preparing for Select Committee Hearings, Parliamentary Question responses and Official Information Act requests,
- Supporting the scoping, planning and delivery of business initiatives

**We are keen to hear from you if you have**:

- Some knowledge and experience of corporate or machinery of government processes
- Experience in developing effective relationships and networks
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Resilience and the ability to find pathways through ambiguity.
- Relevant experience in a similar role.
- An interest or previous experience in industries that may be relevant to our work of maintaining New Zealand's property rights system and managing Crown property assets would be an advantage

The appointing salary for this role will be between $86,707 - $107,108 dependant on experience.
