**Mō Tēnei Tūranga Mahi | About the Role**:
Join Toi Ohomai as a Communications Co-ordinator and play a pivotal role in our Marketing, Engagement and Communications team. Your role will encompass relationship management across all our internal service departments, ākonga communications and social media. You'll ensure Toi Ohomai brand consistency is maintained and you’ll keep our ākonga are up to date with the latest news and events. Building excellent relationships with internal and external stakeholders will be essential in this role, facilitating seamless collaboration and working across the wider Marketing team effectively. This position offers a unique opportunity to work across a variety of accounts and contribute to the growth and success of Toi Ohomai.
This position is 0.8 FTE (32 hours per week). The appointing salary for this role will be between $44,763.20 and $55,954.40 (Pro rata from 1.0FTE $55,954 and $69,943) dependent on skills and experience.
The Communications Co-ordinator role is based in our Marketing, Engagement & Communication team atToi Ohomai reporting to the Communications Manager and will be responsible for:
Assist in the implementation of the communications strategy to effectively promote Toi Ohomai and its internal services.
Increase engagement of ākonga communications and manage ākonga communications channels.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to enhance collaboration and support.
Utilise innovative technology to optimise communication channels and engagement with ākonga and kaimahi.

**To be successful in this role you will have**:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including proficiency in content creation, electronic marketing and communication techniques.
- Experience in developing engaging social media content
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to relate to individuals from diverse backgrounds and educational levels.
- Proactive, vibrant, and enthusiastic personality.
- Understanding of tikanga Māori, demonstrating respect for cultural protocols and practices within the education sector. Graphic design skills are desirable
