He Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the Role
An opportunity has arisen for an administrator to join the high performing administration team at Main Front Reception at Whakatāne Hospital. The role is.5 FTE (40 hours per fortnight).
This position is designed to provide quality reception, administration duties and organisational services to both the Tauranga and Whakatāne hospital sites.
You will be the first point of contact to all customers at Te Whatu Ora, therefore we are looking for someone who will provide excellent customer service. You will be required to respond effectively to general enquiries and maintain good relationships with staff and most importantly patients, visitors and their families.
The position offers a variety of duties including managing phone calls, general administrative tasks, welcoming all customers and going the extra mile for them.
Main Front Reception at Whakatāne provides a Monday to Friday service. This is a job share position so the days will be 2 days one week and 3 days the next week with the ability to pick up extra days to cover leave.
He Korero mōu - About You
You will be a team player with a positive attitude, a willingness to work innovatively and find solutions. We are looking for someone who has accurate administrative skills. You will be an excellent communicator and have a friendly telephone manner. Time management skills are important as is your ability to be flexible and adaptable.
