- **sKids** looking for a passionate and energetic **Programme Assistant**to join the team in our Vardon, Hamilton school site As a **Programme Assistant** you would play an important role in ‘growing AWESOME kiwi kids’.

**You will,**
- Supervise and assist children in programme activities e.g. art and craft, sport, games, offsite visits and activities (swimming, walks, picnics, movies), baking/cooking, drama and music.
- Ensure that the working environment is kept clean, tidy, hygienic and safe for all children, staff, parents and visitors to the programme at all times.
- Liaise with Programme Manager, parents and guardians as necessary in a timely manner to ensure open and timely communication.
- Assist the Programme Manager as required to run the daily format as scheduled as per duties outlined on the task list.
- Participate in all staff training including but not limited to induction training, first aid, behaviour management, health and safety, child abuse awareness and risk management.
- Report back to the Programme Manager with any concerns regarding a child or behaviour issues etc.

**Hours of work**:

- Minimum 5 hours per week, Monday - Friday: After school hours 3.30pm -4.30pm and some before school morning shift when required
- Location: Vardon, Hamilton

- Hold a valid visa to work in New Zealand without restrictions
- Be able to commute to the site above.
- Have keen interest to work in similar industries
- Have previous experience working with children, it can be from babysitting or any volunteered experience.
