**Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity**
Risk & Assurance provide support and oversight to ensure good governance across all Auckland Transport activities, including internal systems and appropriate project management and accounting processes, as well as the identification and management of operational risk.
AT's reputation depends on our ability to be impartial in our decision making and to maintain a high standard of integrity in relation to both real and perceived Conflicts of Interest (COIs).
The Conflict of Interest and Investigation Specialist role will effectively create, develop, and implement a programme of work across the business to manage the review, evaluation, reporting and uplift of COIs both across AT and its suppliers. The role will also involve supporting the Investigations team with internal investigations and specialist audits.
**Ko koe tēnei | About you**
As our successful Conflict of Interest and Investigation Specialist, you will have the perfect blend of communication and engagement skills, and experience in policy and process design within a commercial environment. You will also have:
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Law or Commerce
- Extensive experience in a legal, accounting or commerce position, ideally within a complex environment
- Organisational level policy and process development experience, ideally having created content and education solutions for company-wide rollout
- Investigations or audit experience
- Desired is previous Conflict of Interest experience
Due to the variety of stakeholders and business units that you will interact with, it is essential that you have outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written. You will also be equipped with an incredible eye for detail and a natural ability to build strong relationships.
