Workforce Planner

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Workforce Planner to join our Workforce Planning team. If you are passionate about optimising workforce efficiency, meeting demand, and achieving financial targets, we want to hear from you
As a Workforce Planner, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining effective rosters that align with business demand and financial objectives. You will work collaboratively with various departments to ensure optimal staffing levels, reduce costs, and enhance overall workforce performance. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and a keen understanding of workforce management principles.
We are looking for a real team player to join our busy team who is a quick learner and adaptive to change.
**Key responsibilities will be**:
- Collaborating with department managers to understand staffing needs and ensure alignment with business goals
- Building and optimising staff rosters that ensure business demand has sufficient labour coverage at the most efficient cost while considering factors such as employee availability, skills and labour regulations
- Liaising with our internal casual pool and external temp Agencies to fill shortages
- Auditing for roster compliance and resolving T&A exceptions
- Processing work hours for payroll and rostering purposes within the rostering system
- Understanding the complexities of rostering in a rostering system

Flexibility is required due to the nature of our business, the Workforce Planning office hours are 7am - 10pm, 7 days per week with our busiest times at night and on weekends. The team work on a roster to cover these hours.
