**Chapter Lead - Release on Demand**

**About the Role**:
This role leads our Release and Non-Production Environment team, as we move into Release on Demand.

**Day to day you will**:

- Support NPE Engineers to design, build, maintain and monitor lower environments.
- Support NPE Engineers and Testers to have relevant test data.
- Support NPE Engineers and Release to have lower environments at correct code and configuration baselines.
- Support Release Engineers to manage releases through the lower environments to production.
- You are accountable for the environment and release standards and practices and tooling for the Release when Ready Chapter.
- You area account for Release Strategy, Standards and Processes.
- Document systems, processes and technical standards.
- Conduct 1-on-1s, chapter meetings, root cause, lessons learnt, continuous improvements and up-skilling workshops.
- Grow the chapter’s Engineers by finding and unblocking development opportunities.
- Mentor and coach the engineers in your chapter and foster a culture of collaboration, learning, and innovation.
- Collaborate with POs, developers and Test Engineers to adopt release on demand in their projects.
- Champion Release on Demand across different Spark business areas and promote best practices and continuous improvement.

**What experience you'll bring**:
As a Chapter Lead Release on Demand, you will have a knowledge or a background in environment management, release management, technical leadership Proven experience in leading and managing teams of engineers in a fast-paced and agile environment and have had exposure to some of the below:

- Strong technical background and hands-on experience in test automation, environment management, service virtualisation, and release management.
- Expertise in using various tools and technologies for environment and release automation, such as Azure Devops, Ansible, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift etc.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to influence and drive change across the organisation and foster a culture of release on demand.
- Passionate about learning new technologies and sharing knowledge with others.
