**About the role**
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting the growth of Wellington’s transport system. You will join an engaging team that is creating meaningful development in a complex work environment. You will add to the success of this team by providing strategic collaboration and leadership.

**The opportunity | Te Whiwhinga mahi**

You will have the unique opportunity to take charge of the communication and engagement strategy for one of three portfolios of work. As a confident communications lead, you will be able to ensure positive brand reputation that aligns to the communication strategy and wider programme goals. You will be a highly collaborative individual that can work fluidly with the portfolio Programme Manager and other key stakeholder groups.

**To be considered for this role you will need to have demonstrable knowledge and experience of the following**:

- Strong experience in strategic communications and engagement planning and delivery at a senior level
- Excellent writing and editing skills and the ability to translate technical information into clear and concise comms
- The ability to establish solid working relationships with a diverse range of stakeholder groups
