Following a review of Asset Management for Christchurch City Council, the Strategic Asset Management Team is recruiting for a number of key roles to shape the future of this city, our communities and the environment.
This key position of Principal Advisor - Asset Information, Systems and Frameworks plays a crucial role in supporting Asset Management projects and driving continuous improvement initiatives across the Council. As stewards of community assets, we aim to manage them effectively for the benefit of current and future generations.
**About the role**:
As a Principal Advisor, you will be an integral part of the Strategic Asset Management Team. Dedicated to championing asset management excellence you will ensure alignment with Council priorities and legislative requirements. In this role, you will lead excellence in asset management systems and frameworks within the Council including the management, planning, and implementation of effective asset management.
**To be successful in this role you will**:
- Have a tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline and at least ten years' experience in a similar environment
- Be experienced in using asset management systems including but not limited to SAP, GIS, RAMM, BIM, SCADA and Infonet
- Have excellent inter-personal communication skills to ensure collaboration and timely project delivery
- Have proven experience with project and database management, work programmes and business cases including cost estimation
- Be a natural leader who can assist in developing a high preforming and engaging culture within the asset management team
