Auckland Council's Healthy Waters department is seeking a Senior Healthy Waters Specialist - Water Supply, to join our team.
This role is responsible for ensuring the delivery of industry best practice and pragmatic water supply solutions, with a focus on strong technical ability and integrity to effectively deliver high-quality water supply infrastructure projects.
The Senior Healthy Waters Specialist will play a crucial role in contributing to the effective operational support of small water supply systems, as well as the delivery of capital works projects.

Day-to-day you could expect to work on:

- Ensure the delivery of industry best practice and pragmatic water supply solutions
- Provide effective operational support in small water supply systems
- Deliver high-quality water supply infrastructure projects
- Build strong and effective relationships with all stakeholders
- Focus on health & safety and financial management in all areas of work
- Aim for best practice and achieve customer-centric outcomes

**He kōrero mōu: About you**

This role requires experience in similar roles, with a sound understanding of industry best practices, standards, and regulations related to water supply.

We will be looking for specific experience with:

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Water Engineering or a related field
- At least 10 years of experience in water supply engineering, with a focus on capital works projects and small water supply systems
- Demonstrated technical expertise in the design and delivery of water supply infrastructure projects
