**Mō tēnei tūranga | About this role**
The Team Manager, Change and Implementation leads and manages people, plans and resources to support the delivery of outcomes that are aligned to the Ministry's purpose and agreed strategies by supporting the delivery of national change programmes through local and integrated team connections across the sector.
The Team Manager, Change and Implementation is a member of the Integrated Operations and Insights team and will play a key role in designing the implementation of new initiatives collaboratively with the Integrated Services teams. Responsibilities include facilitation and co-ordination between frontline staff, and the service delivery and design teams across Te Tāhuhu to build a holistic approach across all stages of the education system.

**Mōhou ake | About you**
To be successful in this role, you will have the following capabilities and competencies:
- experience in change management processes
- experience in designing the implementation and monitoring of new initiatives at a local level
- experience in developing and delivering workplans that align to organisational strategies and work programmes using data and insights to identify trends, risks and opportunities to inform decision making
- the ability to work collaboratively across integrated teams to support the delivery of programmes of work across the education sector
- the ability to provide advice and build trusting relationships with multiple internal and external stakeholder groups
- proven team leadership expertise to coach and constructively challenge others to learn and grow in a safe and encouraging environment
- proficiency in leading and embedding organisational change that delivers intended outcomes through collaborative practice.
You will demonstrate knowledge of, or a willingness to gain an understanding of Te Ao Māori and promote tikanga and Te Reo Māori. You will also have knowledge of, or a willingness to gain an appreciation of te Tiriti o Waitangi (the Treaty of Waitangi) as it applies in the public sector.
**Mātau rōpū ake | About our ministry, group, and team**
At Te Tāhuhu o te Mātauranga, we provide services and support nationally, regionally and locally to the education sector, and in some cases, directly to ākonga and whānau.
Te Mahau | Te Tai Whenua (Central) is a frontline group that collectively provides leadership and integrated services to the sector and others. This includes services such as learning support and education advice, and regulation functions for kōhanga, schools, kura and early learning services.
As a frontline group we develop and harness existing relationships with communities at the regional and local level, including deep relationships with iwi and hapū.
We also collectively strengthen relationships with our diverse communities who support Māori, Pacific peoples, disabled ākonga and/or ākonga with learning support needs, and ākonga from disadvantaged backgrounds.
